Xavier is a malware which is capable of downloading a remote code and executions from server, stealing the infected users information, including the email address, device ID, OS version, model, the phone brand, manufacturer, the sim card operator, the screen resolution and installed applications, according to a report in trend mobile security blog, the malware comes pre-installed in a wide range of free android applications and sadly has been downloaded Millions of times so far, a reason also is stated concerning the virus success in proliferating large number of devices, this is because the Xavier started out as an ad library, a crucial element integrated into free/premium applications to generate revenue for the developers, for instance someone with programming knowledge either in java or c++, finally develops an app, subsequently wants to use it as a means for generating income might choose to associate with Xavier, this was two years in the past though, the region of the most infected smartphones are situated in the south east Asia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia. There are also a less number of downloads in the United States and Europe region.

What to do if you feel that your phone is been infected with a dangerous malware:
If you feel that your phone is been infected by malware either Xavier or any one else please try to do, or not do the following- Uninstall all your Mobile banking apps, including block chain (other Bitcoins wallet included), that is if you have it installed on your phone.
- Visit your bank official websites for your online transactions instead of using the Mobile app, the same applies to block chain
- Do not store your passwords, account details in any way, rather you should stick them to you brain,
- Do not even by mistake download modded banking apps, (I almost fell a victim while trying to use Nairabox modded, to recharge)
- Get rid of porn sites
That is all for now, remember to keep your phone less exposed to public.
