Downloads
- Download and installed the latest build of TWRP.
- Download Android 8.o from the link above and move it to the phone internal storage.
- Do the same with Google Apps.
- Turn off your phone and boot it into Recovery using the proper key combination. Press and hold at the same time Volume Up + Home + Power Button.
- Once the phone boots into recovery we strongly recommend doing a Nandroid backup just in case you want to revert back to your current ROM.
- If you are installing Android O for the first time you should wipe Dalvik, Data, System and Cache.
- Go the install section and select the ROM zip file. Confirm to flash it.
- Flash also Google Apps.
- Optional: Flash Magisk if you want root access.
- For Galaxy S6 Edge you must flash a kernel with the model name zeroltexx.
- Reboot your phone and enjoy Android 8.0 Oreo On Galaxy S6.
- Hardware-Codecs are not working, videos with high resolutions (from about 1080p+) may start to lag
- Gallery can’t play recorded videos, probably connected to the codec-bug.
